The “Y” stands for Yohji Yamamoto, the “3” represents adidas’ three signature stripes and the “-” signifies the link between the two. First linking up in 2002 Adidas and Yohji Yamomoto now show at Paris Fashion Week every season, and have captured the hearts of sneakerheads and designers alike. Merging streetwear and high fashion is a challenge even for the most formidable designers, but the Y-3 collaboration is the perfect marriage of the two, with Yamomoto’s notion of dressing a person with fluidity Y-3 has become a standout brand with it’s own signature style.

it enriches my creative life.
