After countless Air Max 97 releases this month, it’s nice to see Nike paying some attention to a different silhouette. Leaked images have surfaced of an Air Max Plus (or Tn), featuring oversized, bright and bold branding. We’ve got the latest.
It certainly is an interesting way of branding, and it’s something we’ve never seen Nike do before. The classic yellow Tn logo has always been prevalent on Air Max Plus models, usually adorning the heel of the shoe. However, this time, Nike have decided to enlarge it to over four times the size, and place it on the upper of the sneaker, covering part of the silhouette’s classic exo-skeleton.
As seen in the Instagram posts above, the yellow and white logo adorns most of the sneakers upper. The sneaker actually appears to be a Hyperfuse model, allowing for the logo to run smoothly across the upper. This release is definitely going to be a love/hate sneaker, with fans already voicing their opinions via social media. If you’re liking the look of these straight away, and want to get your hands on a pair – you’ll have to wait a while yet. No official release date or even official announcement has come from Nike yet, so just sit tight.
