Nike’s tradition of giving shoes the Easter treatment is one that has seen some huge hype around it in recent years. With the Air Max 98 celebrating it’s 20th birthday this year, it seemed only right that it got the colour treatment. Take a look below.
What’s not to love about Easter? When else can you eat yourself into oblivion and order some themed kicks to coincide with the event? Thankfully, Nike’s Easter weekend theme has seen some great shoes come out over the festive period. From Air Force 1’s, player exclusives and now Air Max, Nike has always looked out for sneakerheads by resurrecting its collections over the weekend. This year sees the Air Max 98 picked out to be given the Easter treatment.
Nicknamed the “South Beach” after the infamous Miami area, these Air Max 98’s are certainly eye-catching. Much like the Nike Lebron 8, these 98’s are largely based on the same colourway. A simple white and navy base is accented with turquoise and pink to create an overall well-balanced colourway. Nike has kept it simple in comparison to other models but has still made the connection to Easter very visible on this shoe.
If you’re looking to cop these Air Max 98’s then make sure head over to Nike on Easter Sunday to pick them up. We can’t imagine that these will be a hard cop but there’s no information on the number of pairs being released, but we’ll let you know any information as soon as we find out.
