Nike are pulling out all the stops just in time for Air Max Day, and the latest colourway of the critically acclaimed Air Max 270 has been previewed. It’s coming in a “Medium Olive” reminiscent of a flight jacket.
Although the Nike Air Max 270 officially launched last month, it would seem that Nike is holding back the best colourways just a little longer, with them dropping throughout the run up to Air Max Day. The latest colourway that’s been previewed is titled “Medium Olive” and takes inspiration from the traditional bomber jacket worn by pilots. It can be seen here in a set of editorial images, and we’re sure it’ll look even better once on foot.
The sneaker showcases a lightweight mesh and canvas upper, which is accentuated by black detailing, including the ever popular Swoosh logo, and “AIR270” branding. Beneath this, a white midsole can be found, with the rear of the shoe utilising the AM270’s iconic oversized heel unit. “Total Orange” detailing is arguably the standout point of this sneaker, complimenting the olive green immaculately.
If you’re as keen as we are on this remarkably clean colourway of the modern classic, the good news is that you won’t have to wait long before getting your hands on a pair. The colourway will be dropping via Nike directly and of course via select retailers from the 2nd of March. As far as we know, this is a general release, so you won’t have to frantically cop your pair on drop day.
